Testing Requirements for Elk

Rule 40.5, Testing Requirements for Elk, was amended and went into effect January 3, 2010. The rule can be read in its entirety in the Texas Administrative Code.

The amendments require a CWD test in order to authorize movement and a report of all elk that are moved on/off premises shall be submitted to the Commission.
